It started with a video of a power drill. 起點是一支電鑽插進冰淇淋的影片

The client showed me a video — someone had jammed a power drill into an ice cream scoop and it kind of worked. They wanted to know: could we turn this into something actually commercial-grade? 客戶拿著一支影片來找我——有人把電動起子穿進冰淇淋挖杓，勉強轉起來了。他們想知道：這件事可以做成真正商用等級的產品嗎？

No spec sheet. Just a concept. 沒有規格書，只有一個概念

That's the kind of brief I like. We worked through the mechanism together: how to translate rotary motor force into a scooping motion, how to balance the weight for one-handed use, how to make it robust enough for daily commercial use without being too bulky to hold. 這種案子我很喜歡。我們一起把機構邏輯想清楚：怎麼把馬達的旋轉力轉換成挖取動作、怎麼讓重心配置可以單手操作、怎麼在夠耐用的同時讓人還拿得住。

From concept to something you can hold. 從概念到可以拿在手上的東西

3D printed prototype, market-sourced components, two weeks. The end result was something you could actually use and hand to someone else without explaining how it works. That's the bar for a good prototype. 3D 列印打樣、市售零件組合、兩週完成。最後做出一個可以實際使用的 prototype——拿在手上、挖得動、遞給別人不用解釋怎麼操作。這是一個好 prototype 的標準。
